Order Cancellations, Refunds and Returns
At Vancouver Safes, we understand that sometimes plans change. We're here to help you navigate through our cancellation and refund policies in a way that's clear and fair.
Order Cancellations - In-Stock Items
- Timing Matters: You can cancel your order of in-stock items anytime before it's got a label on it. We'll do our best to process your cancellation request swiftly, but please understand that sometimes there might be delays due to coordination between our customer service and warehouse teams. It is also possible that items will not be scanned until they're at a courier's depot, so just because tracking isn't updated, doesn't mean an item isn't already out the door.
- Restocking Fee: A minimal fee of 5% applies for cancellations, to cover administrative and processing costs.
- Order Fulfillment: Once your order has a shipping label on it, we consider it fulfilled and it can't be cancelled.
- Pro Tip: We recommend checking all details of your purchase before finalizing it to avoid any unnecessary costs.
Order Cancellations - Backorder/Special Order Items
- Backorders & Special-Orders: Backorder and special order items cannot be purchased through our e-commerce website, they can only be purchased by contacting us directly to place your order. At the time or ordering a backordered or special order item we will collect a 25% deposit. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and is intended to cover surplus inventory and administrative costs should you decide not to complete your order when the product arrives at our warehouse.
Return Policy
- Generally we consider all sales to be final however, in extenuating circumstances we can discuss an exception. In cases where we do agree to take a product back...
- The product must be in new/original condition with all original parts and documentation included
- The customer must pay the return shipping fee to return the product back to us
- The original amount paid for shipping will not be refunded
- If the shipment is damaged in return transit the value of the damage will be deducted from the refund provided
- a 25% restocking fee will apply
Shipment Refusal: If you refuse a fulfilled order, we'll refund the cost minus shipping both ways and any applicable restocking fees (except for special order items which are non-returnable).
Dispute Resolution: In case of payment disputes or chargebacks, we reserve the right to involve collections agents and credit bureaus. Disputing a payment does not cancel your order - it is simply a default on payment for purchase contract.
